Toned Black and whites Black and white photographs can be toned a variety of colours, the two most popular being sepia and blue toning. This technique adds mood to your photographs. Sepia for example, suits old buildings and antique cars giving a sense of the days of old or may make a forest come alive with its various brown tones. Blue toning may have a calming, serene feel when used on a photograph which captures an intimate moment or a fashion feel when used on a portrait of a beautiful bride.
